Is the hotel noisy, being so central?
You are staying right in the middle of Vienna’s busy life, and that comes with a lively soundscape. If you are sensitive to noise, just ask – we are happy to offer one of our quieter rooms facing the courtyard, subject to availability.
Do you serve breakfast?
Unlike many guesthouses we do not serve breakfast ourselves – and that is deliberate. Some of the loveliest Viennese coffee houses and bakeries are only a few steps from our door, and having breakfast there is part of the real Vienna experience. We are happy to share our favourites: Coffee Pirates is 20 metres away, 1683 Handmade Bagels & Farm Coffee 50 metres.
Is there parking at the hotel?
As a city-centre hotel we have no parking of our own – but we do have a partner rate: in the Votivpark garage, a few minutes on foot from the door, a space costs our guests €30 instead of €47 per night. You can add it directly when you book, and we are happy to describe the way. If you arrive without a car, public transport is faster anyway.
How do I best reach you from the airport or main station?
Our location at Schottentor connects you well. From the main station the U2 underground line brings you almost to our door – get off at Schottentor. From the airport we recommend the City Airport Train (CAT), or the S-Bahn combined with the underground. Check-in starts at 2 pm, and if your train or flight gets in late, that is no problem: you collect your room key yourself at our self check-in terminal, right through the night.
